FullPageCapture requests only the minimum necessary Chrome permissions required for its core functionality:

  • activeTab: Required to capture screenshots of the currently active browser tab.
  • scripting: Essential for injecting scripts into web pages to measure page dimensions, control scrolling, and prepare pages for full-page capture.
  • tabs: Needed to query the active tab and get tab information for screenshot capture functionality.
  • host permissions - content scripts: The content script with "matches": ["<all_urls>"] is also necessary as it runs on all websites to measure page.

These permissions are used solely to perform the intended screenshot functionality and are not used for tracking or data collection.

3. Data Storage

FullPageCapture does not transmit or store data on any external servers. Any preferences or configuration data are stored locally in your browser's extension storage and remain on your device.

Captured screenshots are processed locally in your browser. You choose whether and where to download or save them.

4. Third-Party Access

We do not share, sell, or disclose any data to third parties—because we do not collect any data to begin with. There are no third-party integrations, analytics platforms, or advertising networks used by this extension.
